30g cacao butter
20 coconut oil
110g creamed coconut
30g cashew nut butter (smooth or crunchy)
30mls light maple or agave syrup (Note: sweetness is individual so adjust to personal taste)
1/2 tsp powdered vanilla bean
1) Melt cacao butter, coconut oil, creamed coconut and cashew nut butter with vanilla in a glass bowl over warm water.
2) Slowly drizzle in maple syrup.
4) Put into moulds and set.
Note: The mixture may thicken when the maple syrup is added due to its water content however it will set as normal.
Variation: Add 1/2 tbs coconut milk powder (preferably with no added sugar/dairy) to boost the coconut flavour.
Optional: 1/8 cup of chopped dried cherries or raspberries.
Mix in any optional ingredients eg. cherries at the end. A small amount of lavendar flowers gives a lovely flavour and makes a relaxing treat.
